It has been announced that Taylor will be performing at a Nashville flood-relief benefit concert. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill organized the event, “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery”, which will be held on June 22. Tickets go on sale this Friday the 14th of May. Tons of awesome people will be there and proceeds will benefit flood victims. There is an article below more about it.
In response to last week’s devastating Tennessee floods, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have assembled a jaw-dropping lineup of talent for a June 22 benefit concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, one of the downtown venues that took in water when the Cumberland River overflowed its bank.
“Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery” will also feature Brooks & Dunn, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Amy Grant, Michael W. Taylor called into a Nashville Flood Relief telethon and donated $500,000!! I am just blown away by how unbelievable of a person Taylor honestly is. This shows how great and sweet she is and how much she cares for others. Most celebrities are not this generous!!! I am proud to call myself a fan!! Go Taylor!!! The article is below. Oh, and if you would like to help the cause as well, you can donate to Nashville Red Cross.
Taylor Swift has a huge heart for her fans, but an even bigger heart for those in need. Taylor called into the WSMV Telethon in Nashville and announced her donation of half a million dollars for flood relief! What a generous donation! Many of the artists themselves have been affected by this terrible, natural disaster. We encourage you to give what you can! Large or small we can come together to help rebuild Nashville!
Also, Taylor’s management is donating signed “Fearless” Platinum covers for our auction! {SOURCE}

Taylor attended TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World Gala in New York City on May 4th. She looked amazing. She walked the red carpet in a gorgeous black J. Mendel rooster tail dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. She even got to perform during the event, which she of course did in an awesome sparkly dress! My favorite thing is seeing the pictures she took with other stars and even fans, she is just so sweet. Anyways, she came in at number 9 on the list, which I think is very impressive. She completely deserves it! I added pictures to the gallery from the red carpet, backstage, and her performance. Click the thumbnails below to see more. Enjoy!

Taylor has signed to become the next new face of CoverGirl cosmetics!! I think this is so exciting because she is perfect for this; she is beautiful, but still true to herself. I posted the article below. Also, I added pictures to the gallery from her concert in Lexington, KY. Enjoy!!
Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Taylor Swift can now add COVERGIRL to her list of accomplishments. The 20-year-old, GRAMMY award-winning star has just finished shooting her first advertisements for the beauty giant, and will represent a new line of luxury products for the brand. The ads are scheduled to debut in January 2011.
With millions of fans worldwide, Swift has achieved remarkable success since first entering the country music scene in 2006. To date she has sold more than thirteen million albums and is the top-selling digital artist in music history. Her second album, Fearless, has spent more weeks in the top spot on Billboard’s all-genre Top 20 chart than any other album this decade. The GRAMMY Awards, the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, and the American Music Awards all named Fearless the 2009 Country Album of the Year and, this year, the album won the all-genre GRAMMY Award for Album of the year. Last year, Swift earned the American Music Award for Artist of the Year and was the youngest artist ever to win the prestigious CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year.
“With her fresh beauty and authentic style, Taylor is a wonderful addition to the COVERGIRL family,” said Vince Hudson, General Manager, COVERGIRL Cosmetics. “Through all her success, Taylor remains a grounded and sincere woman who connects with fans everywhere just by being true to who she is. She personifies the iconic image of the brand while representing the next generation of both inner and outer beauty.” {READ MORE}
Also, there is one picture so far from the CoverGirl shoot. I didn't add it to the gallery, but as soon as more pictures start coming out I will make an album and add them to the gallery. The one picture is below.

Taylor will be featured in TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People issue. Stevie Nicks wrote something very nice about her for the magazine. It is below for you to read. Also there are pictures in the gallery from the photoshoot as well as some concert photos that were also included for the article.
When I first got the call from Taylor Swift about performing with her a this year's Grammy Awards, I really didn’t want to do it. She’s 20 years old, 5 ft. 11 in. and slender; I’m 40 years older and, to be frank, neither of the other two things! I was not about to stand next to this girl on national television. But her little face just lights up like a star, and I couldn’t say no.
Taylor reminds me of myself in her determination and her childlike nature. It’s an innocence that’s so special and so rare. This girl writes the songs that make the whole world sing, like Neil Diamond or Elton John. She sings, she writes, she performs, she plays great guitar. Taylor can do ballads that could be considered pop or rock and then switch back into country. When I turned 20 years old, I had just made the serious decision to never be a dental assistant. Taylor just turned 20, and she’s won four Grammys.
I still walk around singing her song “Today Was a Fairytale.” All of us girls want that boy to pick us up and think that we look beautiful even though we’re in jeans and clogs. We want it at 14, and we want it at 60. Taylor is writing for the universal woman and for the man who wants to know her. The female rock-’n'-roll-country-pop songwriter is back, and her name is Taylor Swift. And it’s women like her who are going to save the music business. {SOURCE}

Now to the point of this post, haha, Taylor recently posted a new video blog. It is called "Demonstrating my fine athletic skills. And more." As always, a hilarious title and hilarious video!! Here is what she says about it: "In this video, my prodigious athletic skills are showcased. Also, there is a Vegas wedding, baking a cake, Easter egg hunting, and one of my favorite parts of our 2-show stay at Staples Center. Song: She Band: Parachute"
